Name: Magnolia Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair Best Guess for Age: 14 weeks 8/10 – Estimated DOB 4/30/24 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 3lb 2oz on 7/31 Coloring: Brown Tabby Type of Hair: Short Gets Along With: Due to her young age, Magnolia should get along well with other cats, dogs, and kids with an acclimation period. We’re happy to help with tips and tricks!Currently Living at: Foster home in the DC area I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I’m Magnolia, and I can’t wait to meet my new family. I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self. What My Foster Says About Me: Magnolia’s caution was very short lived. Very energetic, athletic, playful and curious! She loves wrestling/chasing with Moose. She loves toys she can carry in her mouth and bat around on the floor. Any household item becomes a toy/fun to her and Moose…string, bags, boxes. Likes the cat tree for play and rest. She likes to greet humans with licks, she will grab your hand or arm (usually gently) with her paws to do so. She will lick Moose also. When she tires/rests, she is a hilarious and cute sleeper! She is a contortionist and will sleep completely stretched out, often ending up on her back with her belly exposed. Her and Moose often sleep with/on each other. She is a good work from home buddy and has started to sleep in my lap for spurts of time. She would stay longer but I can only last in one position for so long! What the Shelter Says About Me: aka “Mags” is as beautiful as a Magnolia Flower! She has the most beautiful coloring and hash-mark stripes. Magnolia loves to be held and loved, she purrs sooo loud. Magnolia was bottle fed by her foster mom so she loves to be handled by her human friends, and loves attention. Even when she was tiny Mags would march up to her foster mom and meow as if to ask – ‘Are you my Mommy?’ Magnolia loves her jingle ball and fake mice when playtime rolls around. She has been socialized with other cats and a dog in her foster home. Kitten Vetting Requirements: Your kitten may not be fully vaccinated upon adoption.
