Critter Details

A FUN, SWEET & ACTIVE FRIEND:  Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 14 lbs.  Hello, I’m Marcel!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am grateful for the wonderful care I am receiving while I wait for my new family to find me.  I’m ready for them to find me now! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, but I currently guard my room, so much older mature kids who can follow the rules that work with me, and let’s meet!       • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  The volunteers describe me as an ‘absolutely adorable’ guy who is never shy about coming up to them with a happy tail wag.  I’m super active, very sweet, friendly and fun with a happy nature.  An affectionate little friend, I gave my bather a hug during my shelter bath. What I don’t like is people coming into my room at the shelter as I guard it and have bitten once over this.  MM will be happy to help you with this manageable behavior. / My energy level is 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I will be learning lots of great commands with my trainer. Check back soon to see my progress. / I keep my little room clean but don’t want anyone entering it. / I've been having just a few accidents on the shelter schedule.  Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can fully master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I like spending time with the volunteers and enjoy when they break out the toys at the shelter.  I also love cuddling, being active and laps. / As mentioned, I will guard my room.  Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a wonderful home with a great, furever family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
