Critter Details

Marcus is a handsome fellow with eyes that seem to change color!  In bright light when his pupils are dilated, they appear green.  In dim light his eyes appear to be a deep amber color.   Although not a kitten, at 2 years old he’s very energetic and curious. While not a lap cat, he follows his foster mom around the house and is usually in reach in case she’s inclined to scratch his head while working at her desk. Marcus can get a bit overstimulated and demand playtime from other unwilling cats. He’s easily distracted from this behavior with a fun toy, or food. He adores wand toys.  We know Marcus had a home as he came to us previously neutered and 100% socialized to people. Unfortunately, he was out on the Philadelphia streets and sidewalks during the below freezing months of the winter when road salt was everywhere.  He was under-weight, and we believe the salt caused the ulcers on his feet and fur loss on his legs.  After a month in his foster home, he’s healthy, handsome and ready for an indoor forever home with you! Sociability: With People: Is great with his foster mom and would be OK with older children who are familiar with cats.  With Cats: With proper introduction he’s OK around other cats.
