Name: Margarita    Best Guess for Breed:  Shepherd and beagle mix Best Guess for Age:  1 year as of March 2025      SEX: Female   Approximate Weight: 30 lbs   Gets Along With:   Margarita does well with other dogs. We haven’t seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter; needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here.   Margarita is Looking For:  Her forever home! This sweetie landed has all that great young-dog energy and is eager to get her own humans for sniffy walks, romps in the park, and all the adventures they can dream up. Quality kibble and treats and a cushy dog bed sound good to her, as do checking out all the toys to see which she likes best and going to dog school so she can show how super smart she is.   She has quite the stockpile of adoring gazes and tail wags saved up and is ready to bestow them all upon her new family, along with loyal companionship.
