Meet Mark Twain, one absolutely adorable half of the Storybook duo! This good boy is searching for a patient and loving family that shares his love for playing outside, going on walks, cuddling on the couch and working on training. Mark is a sweet and snuggly pup. He loves being with his humans. He can be nervous with meeting new people but is gaining confidence everyday. He adjusts to new places after 2-3 visits, but is looking for someone to go slow at his place. He is good with both cats and dogs and would love a playful canine companion. He barks in the crate but does well being left alone in a confined space. Mark Twain is a very bright puppy with much to learn. We highly recommend obedience training for learning commands, building confidence, socializing and bonding with your new family member. It’s a whole lot of fun, too! Mark Twain is looking for a loving fur-ever family to share the next chapter of life together! Will you open your heart and home to him? Fill out an application today. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see HERE for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website: Adoption Application – SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org) **Additional info you should know – For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.
