‘NEMO’ THEMED PUPPY:  Approx. 3 months old / Approx. 17 lbs. & growing Hello, I’m Marlin – one of the adorable Nemo themed puppies!  My siblings and I found ourselves in need of good homes, and we’re thankful that Mostly Mutts could take us into their program and help with that!  I’m in a wonderful foster home and am happy to hear that I’m now ready to find my furever family and live a great life with them!   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I reportedly liked dogs in my previous home, though I haven’t met any while in my foster home.  I love my siblings and would likely enjoy another dog to play with in my new home if you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, so let’s meet! / Likewise, I reportedly liked cats in my former home.  I haven’t met kitties yet while with Mostly Mutts, but I’m young so I’d likely do well with them if they like puppies. / My previous owner said I liked children, but I don’t remember their ages.  I haven’t met kids in my foster home, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me or that I may bump over.     • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  My foster describes me as ‘incredibly sweet’ and smart! I am a good combination of playful and chill – running around, then napping with the same gusto!  I’m very affectionate and a bit more passive than one of my siblings. However, I do alert bark when I’m on the patio and hear an unknown voice and sometimes I’ll bark when a new person comes in the home, but not always and not at all in an aggressive way – just alerting.   I’m also described as a ‘happy, goofy, funny puppy’ who will give you kisses. I’m a puppy, so I’m in the – pick it up and taste it phase of puppyhood, especially when I’m outside in my foster's yard, so keep an eye on me in that area. / My energy level is currently 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy – so get ready for some training with your new best friend.  While I don’t know any specific skills yet, I DO come when called and am becoming familiar with the ‘stay’ command.  I’m a young puppy who is ready to learn! / My crate manners are good in my foster home. / According to my foster, I am doing ‘generally very well’ with my potty skills.  I haven’t had an accident in the crate or in the little blocked off hallway where my toys and beds are. But when I've been in the rest of the house, I've had a couple of accidents. But … nothing now for a couple of days (yay me!) and I receive high praise of course when I potty outside. I’ll need you to continue taking me outside consistently so I can master my potty manners. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I’m a real FOODIE when it comes to mealtime and love Pup-Peroni treats, YUM! I enjoy flavored Nylabones over the plain ones and a frozen peanut butter filled Kong is always a nice treat.  I also love to play with toys and my siblings, and I give lots of kisses to my people as I’m a people fan! / I don’t like the sound of the air conditioner kicking in when we’re outside, but I’m getting used to it.  Otherwise, I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.  I’m also micro-chipped and neutered.
