At 4 years old, he’s a great mix of playful energy and the ability to settle nicely once he’s had some interaction. He’s easy to leash, walks well with guidance, and does great in his kennel with minimal vocalizing.Maui enjoys meeting new people and responds well to redirection. He’s shown friendly curiosity with other dogs and can disengage when called away, though he may get a bit excited at times. He’s still learning appropriate play and would do best with a calm dog companion—or as the only pet. He may have some prey drive around small dogs or small animals.Maui is a truly special dog—loving, joyful, and eager to bond deeply with his people. He’s the perfect mix of playful energy and cuddle-buddy sweetness. With just a bit of structure and continued training, Maui will shine as a loyal, fun, and devoted companion.If you’re looking for a dog who will adore you, make you laugh, and be by your side through it all, Maui is ready to meet you.
