Move aside King Julien, it’s Maurice’s turn to shine! Meet friendly, goofy, laid back Maurice! Maurice is happiest with a full belly, some mouse toys to play with, and nice chair or carpet to lounge on. He’s a social guy and is happy to greet any guest that comes to your house. He’s a pretty independent guy but loves daily lap time, especially after meals. While Maurice’s current foster house does not have any kids or other pets, Maurice’s calm and tolerant demeanor suggests he would do well with kids or pets, if given proper, slow introductions! Maurice is on a prescription hypoallergenic diet and medicine to manage some itchy skin. He takes a small allergy pill twice daily in his food. Maurice’s future adopter should also be aware that he is FIV+, although this condition doesn’t currently affect his day to day at all, or require any medications.  You can see more of Maurice and follow along his foster journey on Instagram @helens.biscuit.house Age: 3 years How I came to PAWS: Found stray Animal ID#: A179277 &#226&#128&#139I am not at the shelter.
