Those expressive eyes and sweet face are only the beginning. Introducing Max, a male Terrier mix with a striking, short tan and white coat. Approximately 3 yrs and 8 months old, he currently is fully grown at about 50 pounds.Max is a medium energy boy who is very comfortable around other dogs. He can be very excited around small children, so Max would do best in a home with kids over the age of 5. His behavior around cats is unknown. Max is house trained and crate trained, and his leash training is in progress. Although Max is housetrained, accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. Max is a sweet pooch who is very friendly but can be a little shy at first. Some guidance and patience will be needed to help him gain confidence, acclimate to his new surroundings and be the amazing, lifelong companion he is destined to become. Max is ready for a home where he can play, snooze, explore, romp and impress you. That home needs to be one where there is an ongoing commitment to training, socialization, providing exercise and affection. And while he is no gymnast, Max says he will bend over backwards to get into a great home. We just love the way this guy thinks!* Please keep in mind when considering adoption, dogs thrive on structure and routine. They adjust significantly better when their owners are committed to providing consistency and stability. The adoption fee for Max is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.
