Max is a curious, gentle soul with the sweetest heart. He can be shy and a little nervous at first, but when the house is quiet or he’s feeling brave, you’ll find him exploring, playing, and showing off his inquisitive side. With patience and time, Max truly blossoms—once he trusts you, he turns into an absolute lovebug who will happily beg for pets anytime you walk into the room. He loves to lounge next to his person and will sometimes even curl up in your lap.   Being held still makes Max a bit nervous and he can be wiggly, but he’s improving every day and will continue to gain confidence with a calm, understanding home. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and would enjoy a feline friend, but he’s likely best suited for a quieter household. Children should be 12+ and very gentle, as too much activity can overwhelm him.   Max is looking for a patient, loving adopter who will let him move at his own pace and give him the space to grow into the affectionate, sweet companion he’s meant to be.
