Meet marvelous Max! This big boy is a 70-pound German Shepard mix. At the age of one and a half, he is fully grown. Mac is looking for a loving family that will give him the love and attention he craves. Max has a medium energy level. He enjoys playing outside in the yard, especially playing fetch, but is also very happy to sit inside while his people brush him and give him pets. He is a great mix of adventure buddy and couch potato. Max gets along well with children and other dogs. He loves to play with his canine friends and would do well with a canine or human playmate but would also be happy to be an only dog. Max has not met cats yet. Max is already house, and crate trained. Please be aware that although he is house trained, he may have accidents while getting used to his new routine. Max is making great progress on learning the commands of sit, down, leave it and stay. He is an eager learner and will love to expand his portfolio with even more commands. He will make a great riding companion as he does well in a car. He is ready at any moment to enjoy short or long rides. When the destination is met, Max will be ready to hit a trail or make his own way in exploring everything he needs too. Plus, it will give him great opportunities to show off his skills on the leash. A great boy like Max is looking to make a great first and lasting impression with everyone he meets. He knows that his family will be super supportive with daily exercise, continued training and last but not least, lots of socialization. He is ready to take the next step and be a great canine companion to his one and only forever family. The adoption fee for Max is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees.
