Meet Max!This spunky little man is 8 years old and ready for all the adventures! Max came into our care struggling with pancreatitis and is currently on a prescription diet and gabapentin as needed. Despite this, Max is always the most excited for any walk and is up for any hike or outdoor adventure. Even though he only weighs 12lbs, he is a terrier and has higher exercise and enrichment needs than other small breed dogs! He is good with dogs of all sizes and is great with kids. He will occasionally bark at our cat, but never engages. Max would thrive in a moderately outdoorsy family who also likes to snuggle up on the couch at the end of the day. Some of his favorite things are walks, meal time, belly rubs, and ripping up toys!Max is up to date on vaccines and dental work, as well as being neutered and microchipped.
