Name: Maxine          Best Guess for Breed: Chihuahua mix  Best Guess for Age: 3 years as of May 2025        SEX: Female   Approximate Weight: 12 lbs   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven’t seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:  South Carolina rescue campus. Maxine needs a foster or forever home to make her way to the DC area!   Maxine is Looking For:  Her forever home! This teeny tiny girl is eager to have her own humans for sniffy walks, romps in the park, and exploring the world – she hasn’t seen nearly enough of it. She’d love to make pup pals along the way, too. Quality kibble, cushy dog beds, peanut butter-filled Kongs – yes, please. But you know what she wants most of all? To know where she belongs, to know she’s safe and loved for all her days. What My Foster Says About Me:  Coming soon!
