‘APPLE’ THEMED PUPPY:  Approx. 2-3 months old / Approx. 3 lbs. & growing Hi there, I’m McIntosh, an adorable tiny puppy who was thankfully born into the Mostly Mutts rescue program!  I’ve been growing and thriving in my wonderful foster home and am now ready to find my furever family and start a wonderful life with them!  Local adoption only as I am not yet neutered but will be after I grow a little more and Mostly Mutts will pay for that surgery with their vet.   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I loved my sibling who has already been adopted, and I enjoy a good game of chase with the other small dogs in my foster home.  I recently met a family member’s larger dog and felt very afraid – they seemed like a giant to me! If you have a larger dog who is very gentle, and you’re willing to do slow, supervised introductions, I’d be happy to meet and see how we do together. / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet, but I’m very small, so if you have gentle children that know how to properly handle a very small dog, let’s meet and best no very young children that may fall on me.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I have a face no one can resist – I’m just that adorable! I’m a typical puppy: lively, fun, and full of personality.  I can be a little loud when I want my way (I’m still learning!), but I’m also smart and eager to learn.  I’m a true delight and would make a wonderful pet for a lucky family. / Energy level: approx. 5-7, though this could change as I grow.  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy – so get ready for some training with your new best friend. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s do some training together. / You can crate train me. / I’m just a baby so I’ll need my new family to potty train me. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love everybody I’ve met so far and really enjoy playing with the other smaller dogs in my home.  I’m not too interested in toys yet, but I do love shoelaces – I’ll happily untie them for you, just in case you need a little help! / Other than the large dog that I was afraid of, I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but like all dogs, I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.  I’m also micro-chipped and I’ll be neutered once I grow a bit more and Mostly Mutts will pay for that with their vet, so local adoption only.
