Melly and her housemate Orion were surrendered to the shelter by her human in mid-May. Melly appears to have been well brought up; she is calm, socialized, keen to hang out with people and dogs, and walks beautifully on her leash. She also enjoyed going for a run with a volunteer, so she would perhaps make a great hiking partner. Two-year old Melly is a fully grown hound/lab mix and weighs around 50lb. While she might not have fancy pedigree paperwork in her pocket, she comes with a heart full of fun and loads of potential.      PLEASE NOTE: This pet has been posted by Friends of Campbell County Animal Control, Rustburg, VA.
