Meet Mercedes, a little lady who’s finally ready for the soft life she’s always deserved. Found as a stray in rough shape, she’s come such a long way. After being treated for heartworm, getting a much-needed grooming, and a dental (this sweetheart only has two tiny teeth left!), Mercedes is now healthy, comfortable, and shining in her own quiet way. Mercedes is a very gentle soul who is looking for a patient home willing to give her time to fully come out of her shell. She’s already gaining confidence—especially on her walks—and is starting to enjoy exploring the world at her own pace. At home, Mercedes is the definition of low-maintenance. She loves her peace and quiet, spends most of her day snoozing on the sofa, and rarely makes a sound—you might even forget she’s there! She’s not demanding and is happiest simply lounging &#209&#128&#209&#143&#208&#180&#208&#190&#208&#188 her person. She can get along with people of all ages and genders, but would likely do best in a calmer home without small children. If you’re looking for a sweet, quiet companion to share slow days, cozy nights, and lots of couch time, Mercedes may be your perfect match. Mercedes is up to date on vaccines and is fixed. Her  adoption donation is $450.    Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption.
