Since their worlds have been turned upside down, the two boys are not getting along. Mercury has shown that he gets along well with the other two large resident dogs in his current home. Merc would thrive in a home with a confident canine companion to show him the ropes. He is comfortable being left alone in the house and is well-behaved during those times.  Mercury is still learning some basics –especially leash walking—but his food-motivation makes him a quick and eager learner. At night he loves to cuddle with his humans, and finds comfort in burying his head in blankets.  He has a special attachment to his Garfield plush toy, which he carries around as a security blanket. While he shares his toys, he does not like to share food.  He has lived with a teenager and cats.  This sweet, sensitive boy is looking for a patient and loving family who can provide the guidance and affection he needs to feel safe and secure. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to Mercury, he’s ready to give you all his love in return. Mercury is neutered and up to date on vaccines.
