Meet Mia, the senior gray and white kitty! Mia came to the Shelter after her previous guardian moved and was unable to take her with them. Mia can be cautious with new people but warms up and is a sweetie. She was indoor/outdoor in her most recent home. Due to her senior age, indoor only living is recommended moving forward for her health and safety. Mia has lived with another feline who she coexisted with as well as children ages 1 and 5 years old. Mia reliably used the litterbox in her previous home. Her favorite things are playing with toys and being petted. Mia’s adoption fee has been sponsored by the Silver Whisker’s Society, a fund aiming to help get often overlooked senior cats out of the shelter!Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end â&#194&#128&#194&#156meet and greetsâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
