Mikey is a very sweet and playful 8-year-old guy who was recently surrendered to the shelter when his owner could no longer care for him. As an adult, Mikey is still very playful but because he doesn’t have that crazy kitten energy, he’d be great in a quiet environment. He would make good company in most family situations. Mikey is FIV+, but this diagnosis should not deter you from meeting and adopting him. FIV+ cats live normal lives and the disease is not highly contagious. With regular check ups (as all cats should have) he is unlikely to need any special care, and should have a normal lifespan. Adoption by appointment only with an approved adoption application.
