Say hello to Mimosa! Mimosa is an approximately one-year-old female Chihuahua mix, weighing 7.7-pounds. Mimosa came to Chi Town Rescue with two other dogs, from a rescue we are affiliated with in Mexico. That rescue reached out recently due to over-crowding and shelter maintenance issues. We agreed to take in some adoptable dogs to help out, and will be donating half of the adoption fee back to the Mexico rescue to help with their shelter bills. Mimosa and her pals had been at the rescue for about six months and were originally brought in as strays. Mimosa is a fun and friendly young dog with lots of energy. She loves attention and is always happy to meet a new friend and get pets. She will hop and dance all over to get your attention, but is also happy to be picked up and loved on. Mimosa loves toys and loves to zoom around the play yard with her dog pals. If you have a dog from home, bring them in for an intro!
