Hi there! My name is MISO and here is some info about me:Breed: Chihuahua/Border Terrier MixAge: 9 months oldGender: FemaleWeight: 7 kgHeight: 30 cmCountry of origin: Middle EastHighlights: eager to please & learn, very trainable, faithful, Cuddly, Confident, Funny, PlayfulBeing a confident, eager to please & interested in learning pup, as well as quite easily trainable means you will have a super pupper in no time. Here is my story to share from the bottom of my heart. When I was just a tiny pup, my family abandoned me because I got sick with Parvo. They thought I wouldn't make it and didn't think I was worth taking to the vet. I felt so lost and alone, but then something amazing happened. A kind neighbor saw me and couldn't ignore my plight. She called the only recovery center of it's kind in my country, and they came to my rescue.I was so weak and tiny, but the incredible people at the recovery center took me to the vet and gave me all the love and care I needed. Slowly but surely, I started to get better. Now, I'm healthier and stronger, but I'm still living at the center, because I'm too little to survive on my own with the other stray dogs.I'm a loyal pup, who will devote all my love to you. Hoping that means lots of cuddles. Yup, I love cuddling. You'll find I can be funny, as well as playful. We can have a lot of good times together. It is my future hope to find a forever home where I can bring joy and laughter. If you can open your heart and home to me, I promise to be a loving and loyal companion. Let's create beautiful memories together!Additional videos of me with pupper pals:https://youtu.be/txWDz-jbk3ghttps://youtu.be/6ysKDyX_exAhttps://youtu.be/LNtkPSER_P4Energy Level: moderateI get along with:Dogs: yesCats: YesKids: yesPrey drive: moderate, though not observed with squirrels, rabbits, etc…Fears: None observed. This includes my transportation to Canada, if I am able to be accompanied by a flight volunteer directly to Vancouver.Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. LALDR does not have access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person adopting them and the environment in which they live. Please Note: LALDR highly encourages adopters to research some local dog trainers before their dog arrives. Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in – at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you. While most dogs find escorting passengers flying directly to Vancouver, some will find flights through Toronto or Montreal. In that case, additional fees will apply to fly your dog to Vancouver by cargo. Unaccompanied cargo costs within Canada range from $350 – $550 depending on the size of the dog. LALDR will be as transparent as possible with you regarding these costs. The age and breed of a dog is usually an educated guess, so we are not able to guarantee the accuracy of age or breed of our dogs.Normally, we will not approve adoptions to homes with children under 12 years of age. However if a dog has been determined to be good with children we will approve applicants with children 8 years or older. More information can be found on our website.[MID-EAST] *Vaccinations: Dogs from the Middle East are vaccinated for rabies, parvo, distemper, leptospirosis, adenovirus type 1 and para-influenza. Bordetella is not given, as that has not been a problem in the Middle East.[TURKEY] *Dogs receive 4D SNAP tests – which include: Heartworm, Ehrlichiosis, Leishmania and Anaplasmosis.
