***NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS***PLEASE CLICK ON PHOTO FOR MORE INFO ON MITCH***Hi, I’m Mitch! I spend my days sniffing around the backyard, chomping on my toys, playing with my foster sister, but most often you’ll find me napping in a sunbeam. I just looove to nap! My foster mom has never met such a snoozy puppy before. She often finds me and my foster sister snuggled up on the same dog bed even though we each have our own. Like most other puppies my age I just love to chew my toys. I need lots of toys around to keep me entertained – my favourites are balls and squeakers. I already know the commands: no, sit, stay, come, and paw. Aren’t I smart for my age?! I am learning lots from my older foster sister. I am fully house trained and sleep happily in my crate all night without a peep (although you might faintly hear my snore). I like crate time as long as my humans are home – if they aren’t I sometimes get scared and cry. They have been letting me free roam the house while they’re out and they always tell me how great I’ve been when they return. I don’t think they know I just sleep the whole time dreaming about when they’ll come home! If you are looking for a puppy that will smother you in kisses and snuggles then look no further. I heard I’m going to be a big guy when I’m full grown, but that won’t stop me from laying on top of your lap. I have endless love to give to my furever family. Could that be you? * Mitch is still a puppy and expected to be large, so a home equipped for this would be recommended*due to puppy learning, it is recommended that Mitch live with children over 12 ( or dog savvy) *Mitch will pull to say hello to everyone and every dog. and will grow fairly quickly.*Mitch is anxious in the crate when the family leaves, so short absences until he is better adapted is recommended. All-day crated work absences will not set him up for success. He is very good when allowed to just roam the home for 5-6 hours max.*because he is a large breed, obedience training is recommended for continued success, especially for those unused to large breed dogs.Located in Courtice
