Through it all, they learned something incredible: how to trust each other completely. Rescued by a Good Samaritan, their painful eyes are now behind them and their unbreakable bond is stronger than ever. Moonlight is the more outgoing of the two and acts as Sugar’s gentle guide and reassurance. He adores affection and will happily make his way to you for pets as soon as he hears or smells you nearby. His blindness doesn’t slow him down one bit, and he approaches life with confidence and curiosity. Sugar is the softer, more timid soul who finds her courage in Moonlight’s presence. As long as her bestie is close, she feels safe and secure. She has been through so much, yet her sweet nature shines through, and she blossoms more each day with patience, kindness, and a calm environment.
