Cookie’s story started with a tough break—she and her litter were left at a veterinary clinic when they were very young—but she hasn’t let that dim her spirit one bit. Now about four months old and roughly halfway to her full size, Cookie is a sweet, snuggly, and impressively smart puppy who’s ready to find a loving home. While her exact breed is a bit of a mystery, she may have some Labrador Retriever mixed with Beagle and Dachshund—but whatever the mix, it adds up to one adorable, spunky girl. Cookie adores attention, gets along wonderfully with cats, and absolutely lights up when she’s around people—especially kids. She’s already off to a great start with training. Cookie sleeps soundly through the night in her crate and is comfortable being crated when her humans are away. She’s making steady progress with housetraining, listens well, and is learning her leash manners like a champ. Playful, affectionate, and full of happy energy, Cookie is just as content chasing a toy as she is curling up for a cuddle.
