Meet Newman, a sweet and brave 4-year-old cat. Despite his shy demeanor, Newman’s courage is unmatched. He’s a survivor, having faced life’s challenges head-on. He was found as a stray, and although he had to have a leg amputated, he hasn’t let that slow him down. Newman is FIV positive,, he can live a fulfilling long life. He may be a bit timid at first, but once he warms up to you, his affectionate nature shines through. Newman is a testament to resilience and bravery, and he’s looking for a forever home where he can share his love and courage. Adopt Newman and experience the joy of his sweet, shy bravery. Newman  is also part of the Take A Chance On Me Program. This means his adoption fee has been reduced  for the right home. If you are interested in adopting, please fill put an application online at  ahimsahaven.org .    Meet and greets are with an approved application by appointment only.   As always, cats that are ready to be adopted are spayed/neutered, have age appropriate shots, are micro-chipped, dewormed/deflead, and FEL/FIV tested.
