See Nikko’s HomepageGo to our official websiteYou can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.All dogs listed here are available for adoption from Yorkie Rescue Houston.  Our goal is to ensure our rescued pets go to their forever home and never end up back in the system.  To that end, an application is required on all potential adopters.   Our adoption fee varies by dog.  We accept electronic funds via VENMO or Paypal, or cash only. Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered are available for Foster-to-Adopt only.  A FTA contract is required.   Nikko was abandoned with his friend Chino and taken in by a good samaritan.  They were not able to keep him long term due to unfriendly dogs in the home.  His jaw was broken and needed surgical repair.  He received medical attention, flea prevention, a badly needed dental, vaccines, surgery  to repair his mouth/jaw and is now undergoing heartworm treatment, as sadly, he is heartworm positive.  This precious boy was neglected every day of his life. He is coming out of his shell and is learning how to play again.  His little face is still crooked, and always will be.  But at least he can eat now (soft food ONLY)
