Met Nova! This adorable bundle of soft black fur is a curious and sweet little girl who’s a little on the shy side. She is a very loving and playful young kitty with lots of kitten energy and she can’t wait to play with you! Nova is particularly special because of her cute little bobbed tail, it really makes her stand out. If you’re looking for a wonderfully entertaining kitty who will play for hours and then curl up in your lap with a motorboat purr then Nova is the kitten for you!Since Nova is still a young kitten, she will need to be adopted into a home that has another kitty friend to play with, or with another kitty from FFF. Nova would especially love to be adopted with her mama Skye! These two are thick as thieves and they love to cuddle and play together. Being adopted with her mom Skye would be particularly good for Nova since she is a little bit more on the timid side. A very mild mannered and easy-going kitty, Nova would likely do well in a home with other animals. She is currently in a foster home with resident cats and a dog and she does very well with them. Nova is also comfortable with older children; she has spent time with her foster mom’s three daughters. She would do well in a home with children who have appropriate adult supervision (since she is still so small) or with older children who understand cat behavior and respect her boundaries. Overall, Nova would do best in a calm and loving home with humans who want to give her all the love she craves and deserves!An endlessly curious spirit, Nova loves to explore her surroundings and play. This goofy little kitty believes anything is a toy and she loves to chase things around the house! Her favorite toys include ribbons, sparkle balls, springs, and catnip toys. She also absolutely loves climbing anywhere she can! She even tries to climb the legs of her foster mom’s clawfoot tub. Once she’s tired herself out from all the playing, Nova likes nothing more than to cuddle up for snuggles and pets on her own terms.
