UHA5711907/ #A5711907 Meet Oakley , a 3-year-old German Shepherd with movie star good looks and the brains to match! This sleek, handsome guy rocks those classic perky ears and is as smart as he is stunning – potty trained, great on leash, and knows basic commands like sit, shake, and down like a champ. With his perfect medium energy level, Oakley’s just as happy lounging on the couch as he is exploring the great outdoors with you. He’s warm, friendly, and loves every person he meets! While he's open and curious about other dogs, he’d do best as your one-and-only for now, as he needs additional socialization to feel safe. So, while he would do best as an only dog at first, with the aid of group classes, you can help Oakley get socialized in a safe and structured environment, possibly setting him up to be a social butterfly or big brother one day! Ready for a loyal, intelligent companion? Oakley’s your guy! -3 year old brown and black German Shepherd -65 pound neutered male -up to date on all shots and preventatives, so ready to go home with you today! -came to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 7/8/25 as an owner surrender – but we have no notes and no idea why, as Oakley is the perfect gentleman! -super sleek handsome boy with perky ears always standing at attention, typical of the breed – movie star good looks, but not just beauty – this boy has got the brains too! -great on leash, potty trained, and knows basic commands like sit, shake/paw, and down -perfect medium energy level, equally suited for chilling on the couch or romping around outside on any adventures -has never met a person he hasn't liked – warm and friendly with all people -open and curious with other dogs, but needs additional socialization to feel safe – would do best as an only dog at first, but with the aid of group classes, you can help Oakley get socialized in a safe and structured environment, possibly setting him up to be a good big brother one day! ——- United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals.
