Oneday is a soft-hearted girl who’s happiest simply being close to her people. She loves with her whole heart and makes the sweetest companion. With her calm, easygoing nature and gentle, submissive personality, she brings a quiet sense of comfort wherever she goes. Oneday has spent much of her life alongside her companion, Toodaloo. While they do not need to be adopted together, they genuinely enjoy each other’s company. That said, Oneday has also discovered that she appreciates a little time to herself now and then. In fact, her laid-back nature can’t always keep up with Toodaloo’s playful antics! She has remained friendly with other dogs and would likely do well with a canine companion who shares her relaxed energy. We are always happy to arrange a dog meet-and-greet prior to adoption if needed. This lovely girl is all about affection. She’ll patiently sit in front of you, inching closer and closer in hopes of a few extra pets. She doesn’t demand attention—she simply melts into it. Oneday appears to be mostly potty trained, walks nicely on a leash, and knows the cue “sit.” As with any dog, it’s important to remember that Oneday will need time to settle into a new home and asks for a little grace while she adjusts and continues to learn. She hasn’t quite discovered the joy of toys yet, but she enjoys enrichment activities and peaceful strolls outdoors. She’s also a true sunshine dog and would happily spend hours basking in the sun beside her favorite people. Through her recent Miles & Mutts adventures, Oneday has continued to build confidence in vehicles, on outings beyond the shelter, and when meeting new people. We are incredibly proud of how far this sweet girl has come! Oneday’s gentle, loving nature is truly something special. If you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion who simply wants to be by your side, she just might be your perfect match.
