  Don’t forget!! We are currently open by appointment only. This is to control the traffic in the building at one time. If you would like to look at the cats/dogs for adoption, or if you need to relinquish or to do any other business, please message our FB page or call us at 304-267-8389 to schedule an appointment. If you see a specific pet for adoption on our FB page we can always set up a specific meet and greet for that as well.       This adorable boy is Onyx. He is only 2 years old. Onyx was raised around cats, dogs and kids. He is a bit strong on the leash when walking. He does need to be fed by himself away from the other animals.Here is a comment from a volunteer who took Onyx out for a day…’Onyx was so good on his doggy day out this past weekend at the park. A little strong on the leash at first but just so excited to see where he was. Very manageable after a couple laps around. He did great in the car and was determined he was sitting on my lap before we made it to the park. If you had all day to give him butt scratches and belly rubs he would let you. Such a love bug. Hope he gets adopted soon!’ Adoption fee… $175, cash or credit card, includes spay/neuter, first shots and microchip.. If you already have a dog, bring them in with you for a ‘meet and greet’. Mon.-Sat. 10-4We understand not everyone can adopt a pet. Some homes are full, some homes do not allow certain pets and some have lifestyles that can’t handle a pet right now. You can still help. Sharing pictures on FB, volunteering, or just coming in and sponsoring part of the adoption fee for when the pet is adopted. This helps a lot. No amount is too small to donate towards the adoption fee. If you would like to help sponsor, speak to one of the staff. Especially the cats and kittens need help (since we usually have so many!)
