Meet Opal! This beautiful blonde girl is a striking Husky mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. As one of the larger pups in her litter, Opal is full of playful energy and always ready for a game of chase or tug-of-war with her littermates and foster siblings. Opal is also quite the talker—true to her Husky roots, she loves to “chat” with her humans and has a goofy sense of humor to go along with it. She thrives on attention and enjoys being part of the action, whether she’s romping around the yard or curling up nearby to keep you company. She’s currently working on her crate training, potty training, and learning her basic manners. Smart and eager to learn, Opal just needs a patient and consistent home to help her grow into her full potential. If you're looking for a sweet, silly, and outdoors-loving pup who’s sure to be a loyal companion, Opal might be your perfect match! We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.
