Critter Details
Opie is a cute-as-a button four year old, tan and white male Chihuahua who is looking for his forever home. Opie is a little shy at first, but opens up with a little affection. After that, he loves to be held and cuddled. At 10 pounds, that’s easy to do. Opie is fine with cats and small dogs, but needs to be in a home with no big dogs as he is fearful of them. Opie is crate-trained and will be neutered prior to adoption. He is currently at the Shelter. Here is the adoption process: To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $100 fee for any county animal which needs to be cash or a check – NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. All cats must leave in a carrier. Thank you for considering a homeless animal.
