 Oreo is a sweet gal just like her cookie namesake!This young gal is superfriendly, independent and laidback, but at the same time loves snuggling with her people, lap sitting and getting plenty of pets!  In fact, when she's not in your bed snuggling or napping, she'll find all kinds of great napping spots(i.e. cat beds, boxes, on clean or dirty laundry, etc.). During this time of year(or any time), she'd make a great furry heater!This curious girl always loves to be 'where the action is' especially if she smells or senses TREATS are in her future!  And when she's not napping, eating or snuggling, you could  probably find her bird or squirrel watching or playing with her favorite toys like mice, crinkly balls, springs, hair ties, fishing poles or running through her pop up tunnel. Oreo can be a little chatty at times.  Her foster mom has actually 'caught' her 'talking' to herself!   if that's not cute enough, she also has a sweet, quiet little snore!During her time in foster care, Oreo had some exposure to other animals and did well with proper introductions. She may do well with other cats, but dogs would require more gradual introductions.  Since this girl is independent and loves her humans, she'd be just as happy being the only queen in her castle!   Also,  Oreo has interacted positively with older children and enjoys playing with them.Oreo is a low-maintenance cat who takes good care of herself, does well with grooming, using the litter box, and utilizing scratching posts.If you're looking for a wonderful companion who is independent yet loving, Oreo might be the perfect fit for your home.
