Here's what his foster human says about him:    How would you describe the cat's general personality? Oreo is a sweet boy with a big heart and a lot of energy.   Does the cat enjoy being pet? He does most of the time, but at times, he will take it as a sign it is time to play and will treat your hands like they're toys.   If yes, on what parts of its body does the cat like to be pet? He is very fond of pets on the head, cheeks, and chin, and he even demands ear rubs from time to time.   Are there any parts of its body that the cat does NOT like being touched? He is not particularly fond of the belly.   Does the cat come on your lap? Yes! He loves to be on a lap and take a nap there. He will purr really loudly when he gets cuddle time.   Does the cat like to be held? He doesn't like getting picked up.   Does the cat sleep in your bed? Not currently. He has his own bed that he likes.   Does the cat seek your attention? Yup! He will rub on your legs and occasionally nip at your feet.   Does the cat like to play? He does, though it can take a bit of effort to get him to get up off his back to chase after a toy.   What are the cat's favorite games and toys? He is a big fan of kicker toys and anything he can sink his teeth into. His favorite interactive toy is a wand toy with a long ribbon attached to it. He really enjoys laying on his back and trying to catch the toy while there.   How vocal is the cat? Generally pretty quiet, but he will meow when he wants attention.   What kinds of sounds does the cat make? Medium-loud meows.   Does the cat scratch a scratcher? Yes. He loves cardboard scratchers.   If no, please explain. Does the cat always use the litter box? Yes.   What food and frequency is the cat currently eating? He gets wet food twice a day and dry food in a puzzle feeder the rest of the time. The wet food is Sheba pate. The dry food is Purina Cat Chow Naturals.   Is the cat picky about food? He was a bit picky about his food for the first few days, but now he is happy to eat what he's given.   What is the cat's favorite treat? He loves dry treats like Greenies.   Does the cat ever swat (claws in) at you? If so, under what circumstances? He will sometimes think hands are toys and will go after them, especially if he's worked up.   Has the cat ever scratched (claws out) you? No   Does the cat ever nip (teeth without breaking skin) you? Yes. We are working on trying to help him get over his fondness for nipping and biting.   Has the cat ever bitten you (breaking skin)?  Yes. He seems to treat feet like they're toys he can bite and sink his teeth into for fun. We're working with a behaviorist to find him a good outlet and good alternatives to chomp on so he doesn't keep doing it.   To the best of your knowledge, how does the cat react to new people? Social? Fearful? He enjoys meeting new people! He is a very confident and social cat. He will go up to them and headbutt for pets.   Does that cat have any cute/quirky traits that aren’t covered by the previous questions? He is a goofy and sweet boy. He loves to be biting down on a blanket while kneading, and he does love to go exploring. He will flop on his back and occasionally put on funny poses when he wants to play. In your opinion, what is the best thing about the cat? Why should an adopter choose THIS cat to adopt? Oreo is so social and friendly and sweet. He absolutely loves to cuddle, and he will happily camp out in a lap for hours. He loves getting attention and affection.   What are the cat's challenges and how have you found to best manage them? We are obviously trying to figure out how to get him to stop biting and to tolerate being picked up. He is a work in progress, but he seems like he will be worth it!
