Location: MA Meet Osi – the Perfect All-Season Adventure Buddy! Osi (short for "Lilith Bear" in Spanish) is a six-month-old bundle of energy and curiosity. She’s a joyful leaf chaser, puddle jumper, snow enthusiast, and professional giver of puppy kisses. If you’re looking for a companion to explore the world with, Osi is your girl! This confident and inquisitive pup loves exploring the outdoors and has excellent recall—she’ll never go far without keeping an eye on you. Osi enjoys tugging on toys, chasing balls, and exploring new places. While she hasn’t mastered retrieving yet, she’s always eager to come back to her people for play time, cuddles and snuggles. Why You’ll Love Osi: Social Butterfly: Osi has met people of all shapes and sizes in different settings and has been social, confident, and resilient in new situations. Playful and Energetic: She loves running with other dogs and plays nicely with her foster sister, although she still has some puppy nipping tendencies that are improving with consistent guidance. She’ll also make a great running buddy. Smart and Trainable: Osi already knows basic commands like sit, down, wait, and drop, but she’ll need ongoing reinforcement as she grows. Like any Australian Cattle Dog mix, she’s intelligent, determined, and always up for a challenge. Adventurous Spirit: She’s athletic, fast, and ready for outdoor adventures. Osi loves car rides, chews on toys to entertain herself, and is crate-trained—she even puts herself to bed when she’s tired! Quiet with Outdoor Life: Osi enjoys people-watching more than barking at mail carriers or passersby. She will bark when excited, especially when she’s asking for love or seeing others pets get attention. Household Details: Potty Trained: She’ll let you know with her adorable expressions when it’s time to go outside. Dog-Friendly: She’s great with other dogs and loves a good romp. Cat-Friendly: She’s curious about her foster home’s cat and invites play, although the cat isn’t as interested. Needs Training Around Cars: Osi can be nervous around passing cars and may lunge, but with positive reinforcement, this is an easy fix. Not Ideal for Homes with Small Kids (Yet): Osi is still working on puppy behaviors like ankle-nipping and supply biting when she gets excited. While these are improving with training, a home without small children is best for now. Health and Adoption Information: Osi is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, and on heartworm, tick, and flea prevention. We’re looking for adopters preferible in or near the Boston area so you can meet Osi in person and let her steal your heart! If you’re ready to welcome an intelligent, affectionate, and adventurous pup into your life and are excited about spending time training and exploring together, Osi is the perfect match for you.
