PANCAKE was saved from a high kill shelter in Texas and will be travelling to  Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine on Friday, 14th February where he will wait for their forever family to find him. We are accepting applications from families interested in giving this sweet boy his forever home. We will update pictures and information when he has arrived and settled in. PANCAKE is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, heartworm and tick tested negative, is on monthly preventatives, microchipped, weighs around 50 pounds and is around 2 years old. The shelter volunteer stated that Pancake is very shy, sweet and loves treats. Be cautious when giving him treats because  he over reaches for them, he likes to catch treats when thrown to him.   (Rescue comments – it is important to take into account when reading these comments that these dogs are in a strange environment with a lot of dogs, and they are learning about each other in a very small space of time, it is high stimulation environment, also often the first time they have had exercise with other dogs.  Comments are from volunteers, not trainers or behavio rists). We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. PANCAKE is available for adoption for an adoption fee of $550, as noted he is located at the rescue in Sebec, Maine and families are required to complete and submit an  adoption application and when approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and hopefully take home this sweet boy. Applications are processed with 24 hours of them being received.
