Critter Details
Not only will Paprika steal your heart with her sweet purrs, she’ll amaze you with her unusual heart-shaped markings. Almost as a reminder of her heart-breaking past struggling to survive on the streets, her right side bears an image of a broken heart. On her left side, an image of a full heart, symbolizing her love and gratitude for being rescued and knowing she’ll soon have a forever home of her own. At first, adjusting to life indoors was terrifying for Paprika. But she quickly learned to trust her foster family, and it became apparent that she had a sweet and playful personality. She now loves the human touch and purrs like a motor boat as she’s being pet, brushed, and played with. Paprika lives to play. Her kitten-like antics will keep you constantly entertained. Although shes perfectly happy playing by herself, tossing her toys into the air and chasing them around the house, she especially loves it when you interact with her. A string pulled across the floor, or the wave a wand toy will provide non-stop fun and excitement for this little bundle of energy. Once shes tired out, she’ll happily cuddle up next to you for a nap. Paprika is still getting used to her new surroundings and is a little unsure of strangers. But as each day passes, she becomes braver, more confident, and more affectionate. At the moment, she would likely do best in a quiet home. Paprika gets along with well other cats and with her boundless energy and playfulness, would probably love another young cat to play with. She hasn’t been around dogs yet, so it’s unknown how she’d react, but gentle dogs would probably be tolerated. Paprika is spayed, vaccinated for rabies and FVRCP, had flea and de-worming treatments and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Paprika is playing with her foster family.
