Location: Adamstown, MD. Here comes Patsy—a bona fide classic cattle dog movie queen! Patsy is an approximately 5-year-old 35 lb female ACD. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives. Unfortunately, Patsy has not had the best life so far, living in an outdoor kennel with at least 11 other dogs and having multiple litters of puppies. Because she wasn’t properly socialized, Patsy has had a steep learning curve while in foster care. She has learned to live in a house with multiple other dogs, sleep in a soft bed, wait her turn to eat, and conduct her business outside. The good news is that her rough prior life hasn’t gotten her down! Patsy has a sweet and sunny disposition and is smart, resilient, and eager to learn. She absolutely loves people, and all she wants to be is by your side all the time. Patsy would be great dog for a family with kids or even toddlers. She is low to medium energy and is content to be a couch potato after her daily long hikes with the pack. Patsy has occasional anxiety, particularly when overstimulated by the crazy antics of her zany foster siblings. Although she gets along with all the other dogs, she shows little interest in playing and would probably also do well as an only dog.
