A SWEET FRIEND:  Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 40 lbs. Hi there, I’m Paxton!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and I’m happy to be here and ready to find my new loving family!  Perhaps you?   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a gentle and friendly soul with a pretty calm nature that wins people over quickly.  I can be a little shy at first, especially in new situations, but it doesn’t take long for my sweet personality to shine through.  Baths make me a bit nervous — that sprayer can be scary! — but once I realize I’m safe, I relax and do my best to be brave.  I’m a lovely, sweet dog who just wants to be loved and treated gently, and I’ll return that love many times over. / Energy Level: 4-6.        • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I don’t seem to know any commands yet, but you can teach me. / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / I’m having accidents on the shelter schedule, so I’ll need my new family to help me with this.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love spending time with the volunteers in the Mostly Mutts play yard — it’s such a fun place to run around!  I really enjoy being with people, especially when the nice volunteers give me pets and attention.  Snuggling up with them is one of my favorite things, and I’m sure I’ll love cuddle time just as much in my new home! / I’m a bit nervous about the busy traffic around the shelter, so let’s find a quieter place to walk.  I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered.  I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I’m a sweet guy looking for a wonderful family to love and be loved by.  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
