Critter Details

Peanut is a sweet, soft-natured puppy who’s ready to find a loving home where he can continue to grow and thrive. He has a soft, thoughtful way of asking for attention, and once he feels comfortable, his joyful personality shines through! In familiar settings, Peanut is curious, excitable, and loves to play throughout the day. He’s a polite houseguest, happy to explore and lounge while you're away for short stretches. While he’s still building confidence out in the world, and can be a bit overwhelmed at times, Peanut responds beautifully to gentle, one-on-one interactions and is making great progress at his own pace. Peanut is looking for an adopter who can offer patience, encouragement, and plenty of love as he continues to learn puppy basics and explore the world. With time and support, he’s sure to blossom into the happy, confident companion he’s meant to be. And right now Peanut is living well with a cat in foster care, and we think that he may benefit from having more social animal friends around in the future to help show him the ropes. In true puppy fashion, Peanut is also a toy enthusiast who loves to entertain himself—tossing his toys around, chasing them down, and proudly gathering them into a cozy little pile to sit on. Sometimes he’ll even invite you to join in the fun by bringing you his favorite toy to throw!  If you’re ready to welcome a playful, sensitive, and completely lovable pup into your life, Peanut is ready to meet you!
