Once you have filled it out you must send it back via email to adopt@almosthomenm.org and then we will contact you to schedule an appointment.  **Available** Tiny Male – Possibly Dachshund X Schnauzer Approximate DOB 3/4/2025 – Currently about 5 lbs unknown adult size Chickpea, Sweetpea, and Peanut were picked up as strays very small and thin. Thankfully they ended up at a local shelter where they got the help they needed. This adorable teeny tiny boy is very rambunctious little guy who is also very vocal and barks at you when he needs attention. He also loves running and wrestling with his siblings and larger foster dogs. He will sit on his hind legs with his front paws on the x-pen and will wait till you look at him and then he’ll start barking for attention and pets He is still working on house training but doing great using his puppy pads while his foster mom is at work. Gets along great with everyone he meets. These babies are soooo darn tiny and cute they will be adopted quickly so please get your application in asap.   Neutered, microchipped, and current on all vaccinations – Adoption Fee $300 – includes medical, collar and leash, small bag of food he is currently eating, and a few puppy pads to get you started. We do welcome out-of-state adoptions. Steps for adoption: Read entire bio, send an email to request an application adopt@almosthomenm.org or download it from the main website www.almosthomenm.org, save it to your desktop, fill it out completely and save it, then email it to us, once approved you will receive an email asking you when you would like to come out to meet the pet so we can schedule an appointment, directions will then be emailed or text to you. Please be aware most of the dogs are located in foster homes in Los Lunas, NM. Adoption fees are cash only.   If you would like to provide snacks, toys, food, and care for the dogs while they wait for their happily ever afters we would truly appreciate it.
