Meet Pearl a beautiful Shepherd 10 months old female whose owner is having untreatable health issues. She arrived here brought by strangers very sad and disoriented. Shepherds are very smart and she knows her life she had is over. On the plus side she is friendly and not aggressive,, very intelligent and will sit on command and take treats. Dogs like this do lousy in a shelter and need someone around close for awhile while they acclimate. They also tend to be a flight risk for a few weeks until they realize they have a routine that works for them. Working with a dog like this is the most rewarding thing that a person can do in rescue.
