Meet Pebbles — A Petite, Wobbly, Wonder With a Whole Lot of Heart Pebbles is an adorable, spunky calico girl with a personality as sweet as her tiny face. She’s known for “talking a big game,” especially when it comes to bath time or being picked up, but underneath that sass is a total sweetheart who loves kisses, affection, and curling up near her people when she’s ready for cuddles. Pebbles is a messy little eater—adorably so—which sometimes earns her a gentle bath, and she’s never shy about voicing her thoughts on the matter!Pebbles has Cerebellar Cypoplasia (CH), often called “wobbly cat syndrome.” This non-progressive, non-contagious neurological condition simply means her coordination is a bit off, giving her the charming, slightly tipsy wobble of a “drunken sailor.” Her CH won’t stop her from living a long, healthy, joy-filled life—it just means her adopter needs to provide a safe, supportive environment. She’ll do best in a home with plenty of rugs or soft surfaces to hold on to for balance, elevated food and water bowls, and a low-entry litter box. Stairs (especially open ones) can be risky for wobbly cats, so a home without stairs (or one with baby gates to block access) is ideal. She will always be wobbly, but her condition does not progress with age, so it will never get worse, and she’ll grow more confident managing her movements as she matures.This petite sweetheart loves eating, napping, and playing with her siblings Bamm and Barnie. Because she is still very young, Pebbles needs a home with at least one other kitty friend—and she would be thrilled to be adopted with one or both of her brothers. Their wobbly wrestling matches are absolutely hilarious, and she adores having feline companions to keep her company. Pebbles has also met a small dog and lots of visitors in her foster home, and she does well with all. She is easy-going and social! She will thrive in a home with gentle, understanding humans who embrace her condition and celebrate her for the special girl she is.Pebbles may be a bit more reserved than her boisterous brothers, but she is incredibly affectionate, gentle-natured, and full of calming magic. Her foster mom says holding Pebbles can melt away an entire day’s worth of stress.
