Penny (originally Sally as a kitten) is a beautiful orange tabby female. It's not often you find female orange tabby kitty cats, but she followed after her mom, Orangette (also a female orange tabby).  She was originally adopted as a kitten as Sally (she had a sibling named Harry) and her adopters life changed and she brought her back to the rescue to find her fur'ever home.  Penny is a very cool kitty. She'll take a good week or two to settle into a new environment as she has only known one home for 6 years, but once she is settles, she is so sweet and talkative. She is easy going, loves her person and attention and probably would do best as an only cat.  Human interaction is essential for this great kitty-guardian relationship.  She has excellent litterbox habits, is a hearty eater, loves watching birds and the nature TV network and works out like a champ with a scratching post. She has all of her primary vetting including being Spayed, vaccinated, flea and deworming prevention, and is microchipped. Approx. DOB 6/17/2020Interested in one of our cats/dogs? All our cats/dogs will be spayed/neutered, heart worm tested (dogs-age appropriate), FeLV/FIV test (cat/litter), microchipped, and current on vaccinations. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. We review all applications received to ensure that the animal and the applicant are a good match based on personal experiences with the animal. These animals live in foster homes with us, so we are familiar with their habits and behaviors. Home visits may be required prior to adoption approval.
