Critter Details

Percy is an affectionate, fun-loving pup with a big heart and an even bigger personality! He has a special way of making everyone he meets fall in love with him instantly. According to his fosters, "he loves to follow you around and always wants a snuggle. When you sit or lay next to him, he likes to rub his head on you and ask for more pets. He is so cuddly! He even gives you a little kiss sometimes.” Beyond his love for affection, Percy is a total goofball with a unique look and quirky habits that make everyone smile. Everyone can’t get enough of his raccoon-like tail and the way he sits up on his hind legs like a little beaver, "he is very silly in his demeanor and appearance. He makes you wonder if he is part raccoon or beaver with his funny tail and the way he sits on his hind legs with his little arms out.” In addition to being a constant source of entertainment, Percy’s absolute favorite thing in the world is going on walks, but he’s just as happy lounging by your side, soaking up as much attention as he can. He has had some successful dog-on-dog interactions, but he prefers not to share his humans' love. For that reason, he'd do best as the only pet in a home where he can be the center of attention. Percy is also improving each day with house training, and will need a patient adopter that is comfortable continuing to work on his indoor marking while he settles into a new environment, in addition to providing regular bathroom breaks. He already knows basic commands like “sit” and “come,” and is eager to learn and please! If you’re looking for a pup who will make you laugh, keep you company, and shower you with love, Percy is the perfect match.
