A SWEET LITTLE GUY:  Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 19 lbs.    Hello, my name’s Pete!   I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control.  The day they came for me was my lucky day, but the luckiest day will be when I get to meet my new family and start making memories in a loving home.  Are you ready to take me on my journey to the good life?  I hope so!    • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I recently met dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them!  If you have a nice doggie at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals.  / Cats unknown. / I met kids around 10 years old at Mostly Mutts, and I liked them but was nervous when they rode a scooter, so if you have kids around that age, let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me.         • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a handsome, scruffy little guy with a friendly, gentle nature.  I’m still settling in a bit, and the volunteers know to go slow with me when it comes to leashing.  I can be a bit cranky about that, but hopefully my friendly nature will overcome any fears I may have about that.  I’m looking forward to being someone’s great little companion very soon! / My energy level is currently 3-5, though it may increase once I’m fully comfortable in my new home. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I will be learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer.  So far, I know the ‘sit’ and ‘down’ commands and I look forward to learning more!  Check back soon to see what else I have learned. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty habits have been good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too.    • LIKES/DISLIIKES:  I enjoy spending time with the nice volunteers and look forward to thriving in a loving home. I bet there is lots of play and snuggle time in our future. / I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I’m looking for a great home with a wonderful furever family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
