Birthdate:  10/11/2026Breed: One of a kindWe all know that there's a lack of kindness and decency in our world today, so we look to those with bigger hearts and the determined commitment to keep our animal friends safe and loved.  Thrown from a moving car down South, all four paw pads were injured and painful.  Unable to put pressure on his paws PETER sat upright on his little behind (resembling a bunny) until his medical care made it possible for him to get more comfortable again.  Throughout all of that, the one thing that comforted him completely was to be held and cuddled and soothed.  Peter holds no grudges and since his rescue has only known love and contentment.  He is soft and endearing and ready to receive any kindness offered.  Playful and cat friendly (and completely rehabilitated!) he's an easy plus one or an addition to any home.  To be honest, the foster had a hard time saying goodbye to him and his pal Bo who were fostered together.   The Rescue is open 7 days a week for you to come and meet our pets! Walk-ins are welcome! In order to interact with them, you’ll need a simple questionnaire filled out. You can fill this out at the Rescue or before you come in at: https://www.pawscrossedny.org/cat-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold pets for any reason. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.
