He may be shy when you first meet him and prefer to stick close to his shelter friends, but with gentle pets, yummy treats, and a little patience, youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ll start to see that sweet personality shine. Phoenix has made wonderful progress with his leash skills, knows sit, waits patiently for his food, and gives the BEST hugs. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s also a clever boy who has mastered every enrichment toy weâ&#194&#128&#194&#153ve thrown his way! He loves other dogs, and having canine companions has helped him feel more comfortable in new situations. Weâ&#194&#128&#194&#153re happy to arrange a dog meet-and-greet to see if he has a furry friend in his future! Phoenix will thrive with a patient, understanding family willing to give him time to settle in and build trust. Busy homes and small children may be overwhelming for him, so a calmer home that matches his gentle pace would be ideal. But donâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t let that soft, shy side fool you! Phoenix loves to play, explore new toys, enjoy leisurely walks, and spend one-on-one time with his favorite people.
