Critter Details

Hold me and brush me, please!!  My name is Picard! I’m a handsome orange tabby guy who my caretakers think is approximately 2-3 years old. I think I heard them say they named me after a famous TV character (Star Trek, maybe) who was very smart and diplomatic. I think that could describe me too, at least a little. I like to analyze a situation before deciding if I want to participate or just sit back and watch. I’m sometimes discerning about people, but I am really a very friendly and sweet guy. I don’t mind other felines either, especially if our laid-back personalities mesh. I also just hang out by myself. I love to be pet all over, get brushed, and even be held. To show you I’m enjoying all the attention, I really like to shove my head into your face (probably a few times), make biscuits, and wag my adorably short tail! I think I’d be great in a calm household that can help me blossom!  I don’t seem to mind other friendly kitties, but I haven’t met dogs.
