A WONDERFUL GIRL: Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 35 lbs. Hi, my name is Pickle! I was not living in an ideal situation, and a good citizen intervened to care for me. They already had a few dogs of their own and really wanted me to have the best life, so they helped me find my way to Mostly Mutts. I’ve been having fun at the MM shelter and just went into a foster home, so there will be new information about me soon. Here is my information from my time at the MM shelter. I’m ready to find my furever family now, perhaps with you! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I recently met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and we got along just great so if you have a nice doggie already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! At Mostly Mutts I got nervous in the higher traffic areas, so sometimes I’d stop on my walks and wait for another volunteer to come with another dog and then I felt better following them. / I reportedly liked cats in my previous home, so if you have a dog-friendly kitty, let’s meet! / The good citizen who took me in said I liked kids, but I don’t remember their ages. So, if you have kids, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. Also, kids should not walk me since I’m nervous around traffic. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: All of the volunteers have described me as ‘a super sweet dog’ and I sure like that! They say that I have the sweetest and most loving personality and that I just want to be a wonderful companion. I became a shelter favorite by displaying my gentle, friendly and calm nature and I look forward to sharing these with my new family. / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: Prior to going into my foster home, I was a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I learned lots of great doggie commands with my trainer. I do a really nice ‘sit’ and I also know the ‘stay’ and ‘leave it’ commands. I can’t wait to learn even more with you! / I do well in my room at the shelter, though I don’t like to go back in after spending time with the volunteers. I am a people dog, after all. / I've been having some accidents on the shelter schedule, so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love being with people and enjoy all the attention that comes my way – though I am not too pushy about seeking it. I have some interest in toys, so I bet we can have fun with those. Have chew bones or chew toys ready for me, as I am a young pup in my chewing phase. I am a shoe fashionista and liked to chew those in the home of the family that stepped in to help me, so keep them picked up and out of harm’s way. / High traffic areas make me nervous on my walks, so keep a good hold on my leash when noisy traffic is near. Perhaps we can find a less congested area than the roads around the shelter to take our walks. Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I am looking for a wonderful furever home with a loving family! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
